The Amphibio 88 XTi from Elan is back again this season as an excellent choice for aggressive skiers looking for quick carves and impressive powder for spending the majority of their time on the frontside of the mountain. Elan’s long-standing Amphibio Rocker is make with dedicated right and left skis, with a rockered outside edge on the tip and a cambered inside edge which engages you into a carve very quickly. The 4D Technology silences vibrations by having a convex shape across the topsheet in front of the binding platform and a concave shape behind it. The Fusion Binding System allows the 88 XTi to flex naturally, even for a ski as stiff as it is. The Laminated Woodcore XTi creates a very smooth ride at any speed while still maintaining a light on your feet feeling. RST Sidewalls allow for fantastic edge hold, even when conditions get icy and firm, while delivering a high amount of energy transmission directly to the snow.
